About Viv!
Vivien Huang was raised on Long Island (yes, that’s “on” not “in”) before attending Washington University in St. Louis, where she majored in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology (yes, that’s ONE major) and minored in Writing. Her short-form nonfiction pieces have received honorable mention awards from the annual writing competition hosted by the Writer’s Digest. As a writer and aspiring novelist, she is passionate about positive representation in stories as a way to make people feel not only seen but understood. She now lives in North Carolina, working on graduate school applications and her first book.

Creativity
I tend to be pretty good at coming up with creative, outside-the-box solutions. Usually, I have too many ideas!
What Drives My Work
My core skills and competencies!

Writing
I’m good at line-level writing, editing, and constructing “boring” facts into a coherent story to make them easier to digest.

Education
I’m proud of my ability to break down complex concepts and explain them in accessible terms.

This section is to demonstrate, to the reader, a bit about what you think of the most often.
